What are the check in and check out times?

Check-in 4:00 pm-11:00pm

Checkout 11:00 am

The hotel lobby and exterior doors lock down at 11:00 pm for security purposes, only guests that have a room key can get back in or out after 11:00

What are your rates for your rooms? Do you offer any discounts?

Our Standard 1 King bedroom is $99. Our 2 Queen bedrooms are $115. Our 1 King Bedroom Suites are $130.00. We have a single Executive Suite for $170.00 which is our nicest room. We offer AAA (5%), AARP (5%), and Active Military (10%) discounts to any of our rooms Taxes are not included in the price above.

May 5 - September 23; Friday & Saturday only rate increase = 1 King Standard $109, 2 Queen bedroom $125 (taxes not included)

How many rooms do you have? 

 We have 27 rooms of all kinds here at the Appalachian hotel. We offer free on-site parking to all of our guests. From our luxurious Suites  to even our ADA and adjoining rooms we have many rooms types to offer.

Do you have a restaurant and bar?

Yes we do! We have The Hitching Post Steakhouse and Saloon connected to the hotel. Parking is offered in the back for eating.

Do we have a pool?

No we do not have a pool but luckily our city offers an outdoor public pool minutes away from the hotel.

Do you allow dogs?

We allow small dogs under 25lbs that also travel well. A dog fee is charged at $75 up to 3 nights. $125 fee after 3 nights.  Max amount of 2 dogs is allowed. Dogs are not allowed in our Suite rooms. Must call ahead to book if bringing a dog!

You are not allowed to leave dogs unattended in our hotel & they must be on a leash once outside of your room.

A dog fee will be charged and a $100 fine to the card on file if caught sneaking in a dog. Rooms will be serviced daily regardless of hanging the Do Not Disturb on the door. 


Do you offer adjoining rooms? 

Yes we offer connecting rooms, please call the hotel if interested to get the correct rooms accommodated for your stay.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Must cancel 2 days prior to the check in date by 2:00 pm to receive a full refund.

We do have a lost & found for items left behind. These items are kept for a maximum of 30 days from the date of check out. We can send the items to you at your expense if requested. 

Must be 21 years old or older to book a room. Proper non-expired ID will be needed upon check-in as well as the credit/debit card used to pay for the reservation. 

We do not accept Cash/American Express/Checks or any prepaid cards for payment.

Any reservations during the week of the Buckwheat Festival must be canceled within 30 days prior to the check in date for any type of refund.
